It allows all 4 metering modes (spot, center-weighted, highlight-weighted, multi-field) with or without the Visoflex mounted. The M10s without Visoflex ONLY allow center-weighted (same with M9s, but the M10s show a menu that pretends to let you choose other modes&#8212;with no effect). Spot and multi work only when Visoflex is on. Seems to me it would be a trivial fix to gray out things that aren&#8217;t available, and only slightly harder to MAKE them available without Visoflex, as they do on the M11. But what do I know?<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;Had a toothache all day.
