According to Coconut battery app, battery had seen 969 cycles (and was at 80% of peak performance). Is it possible people are tearing out the innards of used iPhones and putting them in new cases, with new shrink-wrapped boxes and accessories? Really hard to believe, but the battery app seems to have been fairly reliable. Put &#8220;new&#8221; battery in from previous iPhone, all good (19 cycles, 100% peak performance).<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;Pavoni safety valve poppet came in. Spring is weaker than original, still leaks (steams) like crazy.
