–Took the Beemer to the coast, via 17. Stopped at La Selva Beach. They were out of egg salad, so I bought a pre-made egg salad sandwich. It was good. Another glorious day at the bluff, sunny, upper 60’s.
–Tried to check in at the Holiday Inn, but the room (last one on top floor) wasn’t ready. Went to Pot Stop, after repeating the Keystone Kops comedy from a year ago where it looked like Siri was leading me to a dead end. Did I learn anything? Hard to say these days. Got a fabulous sun/art piece there, plus a few big shallow pots.
–Back to Holiday Inn, after picking up a $12.50 Rio Grande Club at Eric’s DeliCafe. I was totally, utterly wiped out–in spite of the egg salad sandwich/can of Coke at LSB. Took a little nap. Woke up and ate the Club, then felt much better. Had a couple cups of Costa “bean to cup” coffee from downstairs, as they no longer have Keurigs in the room. Not bad.
